Miu Term is a telnet-based Bulletin Board System (BBS) client specifically designed for the iPhone platform. It offers comprehensive support for both simplified and traditional Chinese characters, along with compatibility for various escape codes.

The application is equipped with several features tailored to enhance the user experience on touch screens:

• The ability to recognize over ten customizable gestures, allowing users a more intuitive and efficient navigation throughout the BBS site.
• Direct input of ASCII characters via an automatic text field that appears when users utilize alternative input methods such as Chinese Pinyin, Stroke, or Zhuyin, disappearing seamlessly after input.
• A gesture rectangle specifically designed for zoom-in mode display to facilitate easier interactions.
• A customizable shortcut bar is available, enabling quick command inputs without the need to toggle the keyboard.
• Automatic cursor tracking further enhances usability by ensuring that the view scrolls to keep the user's desired content in sight.
• Since version 1.2.0, the inclusion of full-text article reading capabilities significantly improves the reading experience, particularly in zoom-in mode.

For iPad users, it is worth noting that an HD version (Miu Term HD) is offered separately to take full advantage of the larger screen.
